We have an opportunity for a Client Services Assistant who will support the Finance Department. This position is in-house with the possibility of hybrid after individual has met skill proficiency as required by management team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Client Services Assistant
- Contact clients by email, statement and phone to facilitate collection of client payments
- Provide copies of invoices
- Handle client calls to assist with credit card payments, address concerns or questions as necessary
- Gather information to process/submit appeal responses on ebilling sites
- Work closely with attorneys and staff to resolve billing or payment application questions
- Provide reports to clients/attorneys/management via Crystal or Excel, as requested
- Review of accounts receivable aging
- Submittal of write off requests
- Posting of cash receipts including deposits (to bank), credit card payments, ACH and wires
- Editing of monthly Proformas and preparation of client invoices for review by attorneys
- Process and submit electronic invoices via electronic invoicing sites
- Assist with all other accounting tasks and special projects, as needed
Education/Experience
Requirements for the Client Services Assistant
- Accounting degree or 2+ years of customer service and general accounting experience required
- Previous experience with time and billing software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software (Elite/3E)
- Knowledge of ARCs software and Crystal Reporting
- Previous experience in electronic invoicing sites
- Knowledge of billing and e-billing processes
- Proficient in data entry and time management
- Proven aptitude to learn new software applications, processes and assist with developing procedures and policies
