Currently seeking a Treasury Manager who will be responsible for managing our client’s cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day treasury operations with long-term financial planning. All employees are expected to carry out the company’s purpose and core values.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Treasury Manager
- Oversee daily cash management and forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Serve as primary banking contact for all treasury functions.
- Monitor and analyze cash flow, maintain 13-week forecast and monitor trends to support operational decision-making.
- Implement and oversee the ongoing management of the merchant card program.
- Implement and oversee the ongoing management of the company credit card program.
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations for financial transactions.
- Manage working capital and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Recommend investment strategies and mitigate financial risks through appropriate strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial covenants and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports for regional and executive leadership teams.
- Establish relevant metrics and implement methods and procedures for tracking and reporting on identified key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Define and implement process improvements. er cost-saving opportunities.
- Responsible for the oversight and administration of the expense management solution in compliance with company policy.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with external audit by preparing necessary reports, reconciliations and documentation.
Education/Experience
Requirements for the Treasury Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred
- 8+ years of progressive and relevant treasury management experience, preferably in the construction or service industry
- Experience with treasury management systems and financial software (Acumatica, Velixo and Aspire preferable). High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience managing banking relationships, credit card and merchant card programs. Experience with JP Morgan Chase preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Detail-oriented with a drive to meet strict deadlines and hold others accountable to them
- Demonstrated ability to identify and lead process improvement initiatives
Must be able to satisfactorily pass a full background check and drug test
